1) Does consulting agency InvestEast provide a temporary company address until registration is completed?

During the period before signing the office rental agreement, our office can be used as a temporary address. Having your own office is mandatory by the time you receive an annual business visa for a foreign employee.

2) What are the requirements for the office?

The office should have a separate entrance with a sign indicating the name, address, hours of work in Thai and English languages. The office space should correspond to the type of company activity: the number of workplaces and office equipment should correspond to the number of office employees, the availability of special equipment, advertising materials, and product samples.

3) Is it possible to rent office space in a condominium?

According to the rules of the condominium, some premises may be reserved for commercial activities, usually on the ground floor. At the same time, the activities of the company should not interfere with living of residents in the condominium.

As an exception, the company may have the ownership for the apartment, in which case the company’s address may be in this apartment.

4) Can one office be used as a legal address for several companies?

One office can be used by several companies. In this case, it is necessary to conclude several lease agreements or obtain consent of the owner to sign a sublease agreement. The maximum number of companies in one room will depend on its size.
