The increase of flights between Thailand and Russia

Cabinet last week approved an increase in the number of flights between Thailand and Russia.

According to the plan, the number of flights between Bangkok and Moscow will be increased from 70 to 105 a week, and flights between Russia and Phuket and Bangkok and St. Petersburg increased from 28 to 56 per week.

It is expected that these measures will attract more Russian tourists in Thailand, the number of which has been significantly reduced over the past few years due to the devaluation of the Russian ruble against the US dollar.

Also as became known, the company Thai Airways International resumes its flights between Bangkok and Moscow, starting from December 15, with 4 flights a week.
