Thailand expects up to 34 million visitors in 2017

According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand in 2017, the number of tourists visiting the country will reach 33-34 million people. If this forecast comes true, it will be another record for the tourist flow of the Kingdom.

According to information at the end of September 2017, the country has already been visited about 27 million people.

In 2016, the country was visited by 26 million people and the leaders in attendance was China. Apparently, this trend will continue in this year, as according to the results of the seasonal holidays that were celebrated this year from October 1 to October 9 in China, Thailand for this period visited 251,120 tourists from the China, which is 69% more than for similar the period of the last year.
