New Russian Ambassador in Thailand

On November 2, 2018, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin appointed a new Ambassador of Russia in Thailand. Mr. Yevgeny Tomikhin become not only the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, but also the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to ESCAP in Bangkok, the Kingdom of Thailand.

Earlier, Mr. Yevgeny Tomikhin served as ambassador-at-charge at the Russian Foreign Ministry at the Russian embassy in Beijing.
