Overview of Industrial Estates

Prime Location for Investment

All industrial estates are developed in prime areas, where commuting to work as well as transporting products and raw materials are convenient and easy. For the convenience of business operations and of those working in the industrial estate, industrial estates are generally located near a pier, a train station, or transportation routes.

Public Infrastructure

Water Supply System

Total capacity: 8,000 - 50,000 cubic meters per day

Wastewater Treatment System

Total capacity: 8,000 - 40,000 cubic meters per day

Road System

The road system in all industrial estates is constructed according to IEAT’s specified standards. The road width varies from 16 to 18 meters with two- to four-lane divided traffic, depending on each industrial estate’s land size.

Electricity Supply System

The Provincial Electricity Authority operates high-voltage power stations in every industrial estate, and provides three 22kV power lines for each land plot in the estate.

Telecommunication System

All industrial estates nationwide are well equipped with both landline and mobile telephone services, as well as internet-based communication systems.

Pipeline Network Service

A pipeline network is available to transport raw materials and products in certain industrial estates – such as in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, also known as the Petrochemical Complex.

Ready-Made Standard Factories

Pre-constructed standard factory buildings are available for sale or rent in many I-EA-T-operated and joint-management industrial estates.
