Memorandum of Understanding between TAT and Qatar Airways


The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Qatar Airways have signed a memorandum of understanding. The purpose of this agreement is to attract tourists to Thailand not only from the already proven countries-leaders in visiting the Land of Smiles, but also tourists from the peripheral cities of Europe, as well as Africa and Middle East.

Starting June 1, 2017 the company will increase the amount of flights from Doha to Bangkok to 5 flights\per day, 2 flights\per day to Phuket and 4 flights\ per week to Krabi province. Thus, the total number of flights will increase to 53.

In addition, the Qatar Airways plans to launch a flight to Chiang Mai.
