Real estate transactions: preparation, registration, taxation, 19.06.2014

On June 19, 2014 a seminar was held by consulting agency InvestEast with topic "Real estate transactions: preparation, registration, taxation."

The event was held in the main office of Global Top Group, Pattaya. The seminar was attended by over 40 people:

directors and top managers of real estate agencies and real estate developers, construction and industrial companies. The seminar was held by Agapitova Aleksandra, Development Director of consulting agency InvestEast.

The organizers aimed to structure the basic information about the property, to identify the pitfalls that may arise in transactions with real estate, consider the basic legal norms establishing restrictions on the rights of foreigners, and to talk about the practical application of these rules.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of payment of taxes and charges at the time of registration of contracts of sale and lease of real estate and taxation in the process of their further use.

The seminar program included the following topics:

1. Types of property: residential, commercial, industrial

2. The general rules for registration of real estate transactions

3. Buying an apartment in a condominium, step by step guide

4. Purchase of real estate for a company, the protection of the rights of foreigners

5. Taxation of real estate transactions

The next seminar will be devoted to the organization and conduct of business in Thailand in July 2014
